Default Air-conditioning and heater surging question

Hello,

Every time I turn on either the air-conditioning or the heater on 2015 Accord coupe 4 cylinder I notice every 15 to 20 seconds there is a significant search/dip. This becomes more noticeable as the car continues to heat up.

I have taken it to the dealer and they say that it is normal, I personally do not believe this to be the case.

If it had something to do with the compressor cycling on and off why do I feel the same search/dip when I am in heating mode.

Please help thank you

This is because the AC is ON, and is trying to dry out the air. This also happens when you have the defrost on, as it's trying to dehumidify the air on the glass. In other words, this is normal. If you have a seperate AC switch, you could turn it off , and see if you still have the compressor cycling.
