Default Is it the air filter?

Hello,

My '94 Accord EX was bucking/shaking/shuddering when I was driving it on saturday. This never happened before. It was shaking like it would if I drive it in 4th gear while in 3rd gear speed range. I remember the time before last when I was getting an oil change that the mechanic said I need a new air filter. I refused skeptically thinking that he is trying to ip me off? Do u think it is because of the air filter that the car is shaking?

Thanks

Definately not!!! Look for a loose or broken vacuum hose or a loose spark plug wire.

is it at one specific RPM that it does it or does this happen the entire time you are driving the car?

Default RE: Is it the air filter?

Thank you for your help and sorry for not replying soon !

But the CE light is not on... the only light on is ABS and the error code says it si because of the right rear ABS sensor is not working. The sensor is expensive ($150) plus installation. I think I am gonna pass on that for now (unless anyone knows any place where it can be done for cheaper coz I would like to have ABS to my car).

To come back to the same issue, I have not experienced that bucking problem until now after that day. So the only reason it was bucking that day is, maybe, I was not able to drive it properly???????? Seems pretty random....

Thanks once again !
