Default airbox in a 95 honda accord?

I have a 95 honda accord lx, I hav a cold air intake and was just wondering if you remove the stock airbox will that effect the engine? like will it not get enough air and will the engine overheat?

Many people have put a cold air intake on their accord. The engine will gain some power.

The new intake will allow more air to get to the engine (colder air + more air), so the engine won't be starved of air.

The radiator/coolant/thermostat will be able to keep the proper engine temperature.

You should always keep an eye on your temperature gauge. Also keep up proper maintenance on your coolant system as recommended by the service manual (i.e. change anti-freeze, inspect hoses, etc).
