My opinion is that is related to the alternator. The battery light on the dash usually indicates a problem with the charging system, not really the battery.

Some Delphi alternators were known to have a host of problems such as bad bearings, diode, overheating, etc. You may have a charging problem that is causing the other electrical gremlins.

Check that B+ connection to alternator is secure.

Also check the crankshaft pulley rubber bushing for slippage. This can produce maddening intermittent problems. Outer pulley slips on rubber bushing and reduces charge level which could set off charge lights and other faults (low voltage).

Check for wobbling pulley and also make a radial mark across pulley bushing, and inner drive core. If radial mark separates you have a problem.

good luck

your results are normal ... alternators start making peak power at 1500+ ... doesnt look like anything wrong with that alternator ... most driving will be at 1500+ so there will always be enough charging of the battery

also honda charging have two modes .. low and high after the car has warmed up so sometimes it will charge at 12.70 or so to save gas when there are no loads and ac is off

Wanted to update, everything still good with napa alternator. Just a reminder, even though you buy a new alternator, doesn't mean it's gonna work perfectly. Make sure to keep your receipt.
