Another Wierd Tranny
2000 Honda Accord 2.3 v tech auto -
Ive read alot of transmission threads! Mine is wierd! From pulling out every gear up to 70mph shifts hard but shifts fine. The thing is when i roll through a stop sign or slow down in traffic to around 5-15 mph and get back on the gas it only slips at that time. feels like its in nuetral or a split second. I recently replaced i believe its called'3rd clutch pressure sensor' which i payed $100 for because i couldnt find one and it was the only sensor i everbought that expensive.Which will never do again. Anyway i replaced that sensor and did nothing, I replaced the shift solenoid that is directly on the front of tranny looking down from the front of car. I reset the computer by removing the numer 13 fuse. I have not did a fluid change because honestly i dont have that kind of luck lol that it will fix it to waste another 100 bucks. Keep in mind it has been doing this when i got the car at 176k it now has 205k hasnt got any worse . I would think it would get worse but dont. Thats why it might be something stupid mabe another solenoid? thanks for any help.

Does the D4 light start flashing? Were there any codes stored on the ECU.
Your transmission uses the transmission fluid to shift gears, so that is something that you want to try a drain/refill on. Only use Honda ATF. Your problem may be that simple. You only need 3 quarts to do one drain refill. If the fluid looks pretty bad, then you will want to repeat the drain refill.

The maintnance required light flashes 10 times. And im gonna have to do a fluid change but my luck something will go bad by replacing it lol that the luck i have.And yeh i heard only use honda fluid which is like expensive but i guess its worth it. Well thanks for the help man i appreciate it.
