Appeared overnight on a particularly cold day. 2008 2.4 Coupe with about 138k miles. After driving around for a couple of hours today I can’t reproduce the sound.

It was making this sound when parked and at low speeds.

I’m going to lift it tomorrow and check things out, any ideas before I do?

 

Look for cracks/tears in the ball joint boots or tie rod end. Also look for orange/red dust indicating metal on metal wear.
