2008 Rattle/static noise between 15-65 mph
4 cyl 2008 ~3K Miles
Got this weird noise (amost a rattle/static) at speeds between 15-65 mph. Seems to be coming from the front left side. This is not the normal honda road noise. It almost sounds like it is coming from the front left speaker. Sound does not seem to change in amplitude with rpm or speed. Sound is present with our without radio on or off.
Tried moving my head around while driving to narrow in on the origin. No luck. Wife hears it to when driving. Will try to record an audio file but are there any guesses?
Thanks for insights for this new honda owner.
Cheers.
Love the car otherwise - on first trip out of town seems to perform pretty well in the Chattanooga area.

Wind noises around mirror or around front windshield trim can make noises that sound like a high pitched rattle or hiss. Very difficult to pinpoint. Some have used masking tape over suspicious areas to find the problem.
You might check w/ a Honda dealer for TSB's on this subject. A common problem.
good luck
