Default Anyone ever put an external oil cooler on a Honda?

In very hot weather, we used to use external oil (and transmission) coolers, Ford or Chevy. They make an adapter that fits at the oil filter outlet. Had two hose couplings for cooler lines.

I have a 95 LX with the 2.2. Anyone ever heard of such a thing for the HONDA?

Some Accords (forget what years) have a water-cooled oil cooler that looks like the adapter but has 2 coolant hoses connected to the cooling system.

If not, I think some of the "turbo" folks have something close to what you are thinking about. An adapter that goes between the filter, so you can oil the turbo...might look into that. Lines and such from there you might be on your own...
