Yes, that is normal.

The differential gives power to the wheel with less traction. That is why only one wheel will spin when your car is stuck in the mud.

It's normal, but neither wheel should have excessive drag. Be careful when you try this, but you SHOULD be able to grab the spinning wheel (protect your hands with rags) and that'll make the OTHER wheel begin spinning.

Another way... In gear, engine turned OFF. Spin one front wheel & the other front wheel will spin the opposite way. Dragging brakes can be ruled out by removing the pads & trying again.

I ended up replacing the front calipers, all pads and rotors, and full brake flush. Problem is solved and hopefully the heat didn't give my wheel bearing too much stress.

And EBC yellow stuff is not ideal for street use
