My car is Honda Accord EX 2001 4Door. There is something wrong with my audio system. The CD player and radio does not work any more. The audio screen only shows "CODE". I can not insert the CD and receive any radio. I did not find the code yesterday and tried many times. Now I find the code but the "CODE" changes to ERRE". Could you tell me what is the problem of the audio system. And how to solve it. Thanks a lot!

 

I am guessing that you recently replaced the battery.

All of this information is in your owner's manual.

The code is a security feature so people won't steal your radio. There should be a 5 digit code that is on a sticker of your glove box or a card that would be with your owner's manual.

All you do is use the 1-6 keys to enter the code.

I think the erre would pop up if you entered the wrong code more than 3 times.
