Default Bad rack and pinion?!

95 accord. had power steering leak. I fixed the leak. Then bled the system. Steering wheel turns super easily to the left and to the right when the car is jacked up but when off the jack its really hard to turn. When i accelerate to im guessing around 3k it turns easy. Im hoping this issue is just the pump. The first time i bled the system the pump seemed to be squeeling a bit, and of course it was hard to turn. So i assumed the pump was bad. I pulled to pump off and was gonna grab another from the junkyard. Sure enough i notice 4 bolts on the back and i ended up taking the entire pump apart. Nothing in there looked bad at all. I put the pump back together correctly and figured my dum *** just didnt bleed the system out long enough. Then i noticed that the valuecraft fluid i was using is not for hondas. So i drained the resevoir and put honda stuff in. Still hard to turn. Maybe it needs another drain/refill with the honda stuff? I dout it. Its just hard to see the pump being bad when everything inside looked great. And after bleeding it the second time by actually jacking car up and turning left to right the pump squeeling stopped so in other words im not getting any weird noises when turning the wheel. hopefully its the pump, im gonna try and get my hands on a junkyard pump or check and see what a new one runs as i cud return a new one to store

If you look at some of the tolerances for items in the power steering pump, the tolerance for the flow control valve is 0.7083-0.7085 inches. A bad pump may look good but not be putting out the proper pressure.

And please use only Honda/Acura PS fluid...I would flush it again with the proper fluid when you replace the pump.
