Belt (not timing) replacement question.

Belt (not timing) replacement question.
It dawned on me recently that while I know when the timing belt was changed, I do not know when the 2 belts I can see (not covered by timing belt cover) were changed. I feel I should change them out since I suspect they are very old. I don't know what they are called or how to change them, and a search in the DIY section produced nothing. Does anyone have any links or tutorials on how to change these 2 belts out?
Thank you.
Thank you.

One belt is the power steering belt. The other is the alternator belt (or serpentine belt).
Both are pretty simple to change. The power steering pump and the alternator can pivot to remove the tension on those belts.
Inspect the belts for cracks going across the ribs or chunks missing before replacing.

Another reason for changing them is they get hard & slippery when they're old. Even if there's no chunks missing. If they slip, you're tempted to overtighten them & that puts extra load on the alternator & PS bearings.
