Default blower motor stopped working after boost

Hey guys,

Love this forum, has helped me a ton with my current 91 accord that I've had for the past 2 years. But now the blower motor has completely stopped working after getting a boost from an AMA truck... Zapped ma car that AMA truck!

I've checked the fuses under the hood and dash and they were good. What got fried? The relay? Resistor?

Thanks

Although you said you checked the fuses, it sounds like the large fuse, No. 18 (30A) which protects the blower motor relay may be blown in the under-hood fuse/relay box.

Thanks redbull,

I checked that one too and it was ok... I replaced the relay under the dash today and still no go. I thought for sure that would have worked but no go

Can you check the wires at the blower motor - set the fan to HI. Check for 12v and ground......have them or is one missing?

Ok, I pulled out the glove box and banged the blower motor with a hammer and it fired up. Gotta love a sticky motor.

Thanks redbull for the link.
