Wow, that's quite amazing. Really appreciate that. I wonder if the mechanic would do all of that. I didn't realize there was a check bolt. All good info! Def learned a lot! Thank you! I think this is something I should be able to do on my own.

Is there a transmission washer kit that I could order from Honda or how do I obtain those replacement washers? Thanks again!

If you can change your engine oil, you can do the transmission fluid. Probably the toughest part is getting a funnel into the top to fill it up. Search youtube for videos on changing the Honda V6 manual transmission fluid. The videos should give you confidence that you can or maybe can not do this job.

Thank you, I did look into that. I think I can do this. The only thing I don't think I could do is actually unscrew the check bolt. I'm afraid to put mu car on ramps and car jacks, and I realized I can change the transmission fluid without having to do that. But the check bolt is a little bit harder to reach this way.

Is using the check bolt necessary? I understand it is a part of seeing if the transmission goes into the transmission properly and gets full, but I watched a decent amount of videos and no one used that bolt to check the oil.

What are your thoughts on this?

I think you'll be fine if you add 2.2 to 2.4 L of MT fluid from the top without pulling the fill bolt.

Ok, sounds good. The manual calls for 2.2 but it would be ok to put in 2.3 or 2.4?

I think 2.3-2.4 would be fine.
