The torque for the two bolts should be approximately 30-33ft lb or so. You don't necessarily need a torque wrench, but I tend use one depending on the job. Many people tend to overtighten.

I am trying to find transmission torque specs for 2017 accord coupe 3.5L V6 Manual transmission. It seems almost impossible, been looking for about an hour and found from several sources, although not sure how accurate: fill plug is 32ft/lb, and drain is 29. Any suggestions on finding this information? You mention 30-33ft/lb, is it ok to not be 100% exact?

REDBULL, THANK YOU! As you can see, I barely know what I'm doing, really learning from scratch. After all of this, I think I'm actually good to go.

Everyone one here has been incredibly helpful. I bought the washers, got the long funnel, got the drain pan, oil, ratchet, extended bar, and torque wrench.

Watched about 5 videos on this.

I should be able to change my own transmission oil now.

Thank you!

Yes, if the specs call for 29 and 32 ft lb, 30-33 for both bolts would be perfectly fine in this case. Many people overtorque their transmission or oil drain bolts to a certain extent without adverse effects. At a certain point however one can strip out the pan/bolt
