Default Brake Caliper Bolt

Hi All,

Front brakes started making some noise on my '93. The pads on the passenger side were worn down to having no friction material on them. Had no trouble replacing pads on the passenger side. However, when I started on the driver side, the bottom bolt was very hard to break loose, and when I unscrewed it all the way, it wouldn't slide out of the caliper. I tried convincing it with a few taps of a hammer, it still will only come about halfway out.

Both bolts on the passenger side were easy to remove, as was the top one on the driver side. Who's got a tip to help me get the stubborn bolt out?

So, the thread part of the bottom bolt is fully unscrewed?

If so, try squeezing some silicone brake grease in there and work the slide pin back and forth to see if it may help it come out.

Yes, it's fully unscrewed. I will try the grease. Thanks for the tip
