My wife was driving our 96 Accord Ex and had a head on collision with a guy going the wrong way on a one way bridge. The brakes failed, went soft and pedal went to floor. When I came to the scene i drove it and brakes worked. Not the first time it happened, but appears to only happen on really hot days once the brakes heat up. Cost us $3000 in body work! Any ideas on cause?

 

Sounds like a brake master cylinder problem.
