Default Brake Help NEEDED!!!

OK. I am trying to help a friend bleed his brakes in a 2000 Accord EX. We replaced all of the pads, and bleed the brakes following the procedures I have used on all my cars.....The system seems good with a nice firm pedal, butas soon as we start the car, the pedal goes to the floor with no effort. What to do?

I tried a search, and it didnt seem to be working. I am sorry if I am re-hashing an old topic.

Default RE: Brake Help NEEDED!!!

Try bleeding the brakes again to ensure all of the air is out. Check the rubber part of the lines for a bulge that would cause this problem. There is a writeup (I think) in the DIY section. The order you should do them is rearpass, reardriver, frontpass, frontdriver.

If the pedal was dropping to the floor before you replaced the pads? If so, then the master cylinder might be going bad.
