Brake Lamp Problem

Brake Lamp Problem
Hi! So I'm a desperate teenage girl who knows very little about cars. (Not surprising, right?) I have to have my car registered before the end of this month, and my car won't pass as long as it has the dashboard light screaming "Brake Lamp!" at me.
Here's the problem:
My left lamp and my window lamp work just fine on my 1990 Honda Accord LX. It's just my right lamp that won't work. The old bulb did have a bit of corrosion on it, so naturally, i changed my bulb, but it still didn't work. I changed it again, and it still didn't work.
So I don't know which fuse I might look at to try and 'reset it'. I would assume it'd be either lights relay or back-up lights? If not, I'm completely clueless as to what to do, and if it's electrical, I'm totally screwed because I don't have the money to fix it with.
Does anyone have a guess as to what it could be?
Thank you!

It probably is not the fuse if one side lights up, as one fuse (the number 25 fuse (20A)) in the under-hood fuse box protects the circuit.
It may be a problem with bulb connector, the wiring at the right brake light sensor or the sensor itself. Take a look at the wiring at the sensor and gently wiggle them around. Also, make sure the connectors is tight. You probably can pick up the brake light sensor for cheap at a salvage yard. Make sure it is for the right side, as there is a left side sensor too.
If you have a voltmeter, I can try to guide you along where to test for power, such as at the bulb connector or wiring at the sensor; so, you're not just blindly replacing parts.
