Default Brake Lamp Problem

Hi! My dad has a 96 Accord, and today while he was driving the "Brake Lamp Monitor Light" on the gauge lights up. Right now, only the left brake lights turn on when brake was pressed, but not the right one. I checked the light bulbs, and fuse, both are fine. Do you guys know what's the problem is??
THank you so much!!

Default RE: Brake Lamp Problem

Did you apply voltage to the RH light bulb and it would burn or look at the filament for breakage? The faulty lamp detection circuit is sensitive to any corrosion on the bulb contacts. Also, a hairline break in the filament may cause the bulb to flicker but burn most of the time. I would suggest trying a new bulb in the RH brake lamp socket and make sure the bulb contacts are clean.

Otherwise, the fault must be in wiring since voltage is not getting to the bulb.

good luck
