Brake light warning light on, but bulb is okay--what next?

Glad you figured it out.......I have this issue all the time with my 3rd gens 
The 89 LXi is driving me crazy right now try to find which wire is loose. By the time I get home or to a safe place to pull over, wedge a stick to press the pedal and get to the back of the car....they are all working....arrrrrrr. I know one of them, guessing the pass side as it is the most common, has a loose wire.
