Brake Lights went out, help!
Hello guys,
My Honda accord lx 2005 brake lights went out and I can't figure out what is the problem.
I performed these tasks
1. Replace the old bulb with new light bulbs
2. checked the fuses..they all work.
3. checked the brake light switch and it works normal
The brake light on the top next to my back window works and also the left and right signal light works...so I don't understand why the two side brake light do not work.
What do you guys think it is? I can take it to a mechanic but I want to try to resolve it on my own..

Welcome to the forum. I moved your thread to the DIY section, as we no longer use that section for help questions.
If you have a voltmeter, test whether there is power getting to the brake light bulb 4P connectors. Touch the voltmeter's red lead to the terminal 3 (Wht/Blk wire) and the voltmeter's to chassis/body ground and see if there is power when the brake pedal is depressed. If there is power, with red lead still on terminal 3, touch the black lead to terminal 2 (Blk) to see if there is still power. Check both sides.
If you have no power during that test, you may have to remove the left C-pillar panel to check a junction connector behind there.
