Default Brake Question Honda Noob

First, this is my very first post on your forum. So, I apologize if this is a silly question.

First, a little background. I am getting married in December an my fiance drives an 04 accord coupe with the 4CYL motor. I rarely if evver drive the car.

However, when I do I have an immediate distaste and absolute LOATHING of the brakes.

I sneeze on them and my face goes through the windshield...

Are the Accord brakes "fly by wire" ?

I've been racing cars for over 10 years and I've never experienced a more sensitive brake pedal.

Do you have any recommendations for "softening" the brake response to bring it more in line with "most" cars brake response?

Thanks...

Hah... Our '03 LX is like that. Way overboosted - I hate it. My daughter loves it. She says the brakes on the Saabs aren'tvery powerful. Go figure...

I dont think there is a way to have the brakes on a softer setting.
