Default Brake rotor question

I'm about to replace the front rotors of my Accord. I currently have 4 year old Bosch rotors. Noticed one is pitted like where the brake pads sat. Not sure why when it has not been parked for any long time. Maybe bad pads? Anyway, what rotors do you guys like to use? Is Powerstop any good? How about Detroit Axle? Thanks.

I've used brembo rotors on my car without issues. Not sure why your rotors were pitted. If replacing the rotors, do an inspection on the brake pads for uneven wear. I'd replace the rotors and brake pads.

Southmain auto on youtube has a ton of videos on brake jobs and think he has an accord video. His process is pretty good on the cleaning/lubrication of the calipers to get proper brake performance.

I hear ya. I saw the SM video on powerstop break-in. I think I'll try a powerstop kit. I've done numerous brake jobs on my car and have all the necessary tools.
