Default Brake and shake

Hi, new to this Honda thing. A good friend bequeathed a 93 EX Wagon. Front brakes were shakin' like a mother, so I've pulled it apart.

One question: the bearings are supposed to have no slop, right? I found one would wobble side-to-side, but I thought that was because I briefly pounded on it. However, the other side is loose the same way. So I'm thinking I want new bearings.

Another question: any short cuts to getting the inner race off the hub? I don't have a 'commercially available bearing separator' right now, but I do have a press.

Ball joint and tie rod boots are gone, so I'm putting on new generic ones. Anyone source OEM-style boots for these things? The generic ones don't have a groove for a lock ring.
