Default Brakes lock up - 2000 Honda Accord

I have a 2000 Honda Accord 2 Dr and my car has developed a strange problem. I will be driving the car for about 15 - 20 minutes and then all four brakes will lock up. The way to describe what happens is that it feels like I am depressing the brake pedal and then pressing the gas at the same time. I can get out of the car and touch the brakes and they feel like they are getting really hot. This happened on my way to work today and I had to keep going because I was on a busy part of the freeway with no shoulder. After about 10 minutes, everything returned to normal. I got to work and went about my day. After work, this same thing happened and once again after 10 minutes, everything went back to normal. Could this be a sign that the master cylinder is going bad or could it be something else?

Thank you in advance.

i have seen this happen quite a few times after the brake master cylinder has been replaced with some cheap part,,
have you replaced the brake master anytime in the near past ???
if yes ,, install a Honda part

if no, first bleed the system, then chk the brake master push rod lenght ..

to have all the brakes lock up ,, it has to be an issue with the brake master ,, contaminated fluid,, faulty master ,, take it back and have them chk it out ...

Not unless the shop that did the brakes did. I will have them double check that.
