Default Broken AC/Heating Control ****

The AC and heating control *****, pictured below, have broken on my girlfriends Accord. Other they EBay and Honda, who sells them? I would really like to find some that are made a little stronger, the part that connects to the dash is just to weak and really needs to be metal, not plastic.

the only other option I can think of for people with the gorilla strengthto break these *****, is to buy a set of 4" vice grips, to clamp on the control shaft.
When the **** goes to the stopping point it's time to quit turning it, you can't make the A/C colder by forcing the **** past the stop point, nor will the heat be any warmer by forcing past the stop of the heat range.

It's not a matter of turning it to far, the problem is the shaft gets stuck after not using the controls for a while. By the time enough torque is built up to turn the ****, the plastic just cracks.
