Default Broken fan switch Help

In my 2002 accord v6 the fan only works on setting three and four. 1 and 2 are somehow not working. I checked the fuses and they are good, so I proceeded to try and disassemble the dashpanel in the centre. I tried searching here and everywhere and I cannot remove this thing. I removed the clock and screws and tried prying up on the tabs that I could see, but it won't buge. Anyone have any detailed instructions or pictures on how to remove this thing. Remember that I have been searching everywhere and to know avail, the instructions i have found for stero removal (for example) are just not detailed enough.

Thanks

Default RE: Broken fan switch Help

Switch is fine. It's the blower motor resistor pack that is at fault. Resistor pack usually on the heater module near the blower. You need a shop manual to guide your work. Tearing into the dash by guessing what needs to be removed is a recipe for damaging the trim work.

good luck
