Default Broken Muffler

So somehow I managed to break the muffler on my car...It currently is angle at a downward and it broke between the pipe that connects the Muffler, and The Muffler...I asked around and Rewelding it wont work....So I need ideas of parts...To replace it and How I would go about doing it? and What it could cost.

Honda Accord 1996 LX 2.2L It had a custom muffler (I think) Quit Muffler its called I think)

son just replaced similar sounding muffler situation at muffler shop. Prelude, BTW.
costs 100 - 175 at muffler shop depending on if they persuade you to replace any of the pipe in front of muffler.

Looks as tho you'd better get in your ride and start out with the Phone Book and go around to 4 or 5 Muffler shops or garages and see what each one is going to do for you and at what cost..

Just beware of cheap mufflers. I had the muffler replaced on my 92 Accord, with a cheap muffler shop muffler, and it made my car vibrate so much, at certain rpm, I thought the engine was coming apart. I finally decided to buy the OEM replacement muffler, which was a direct bolt on (no welding required), and the engine sounded brand new again. You can have it done at a muffler shop, just don't get the cheapest muffler they have.

CL Type S mufflers have a better flow rate, cool Oval tips and give off a sporty yet suppressed sound.

I'm going to delay this repair unfortunately Money is the reason. for now I have the muffler being supported... My next repair is my timing belt! I will buy the OEM Belt and OEM Water pump? Would love input on anything and everything I could change while my friend and I are in that area. Seals etc etc.

Thanks everyone for the support! Happy Holidays.
