Sorry this is a Singapore Accord and the car was bought in 2004, I assumed it was the 2005 model as it looks pretty new.

However, you're quite right in saying it mite be the 2004 series.

 

USA & Singapore might have different rules about what's required in taillamp clusters, so for all WE know they might have to continue using the earlier cluster. Newer cluster has red turn-signals which might be illegal over there. That's EXACTLY the kind of stuff that has different rules around the world.
