Default A/C cool then not cool

My A/C will cool great for about 10 minutes, then the compressor shuts off. Both fans and blower work. Fans will shut off when the compressor shuts off. Any common causes?

Is this for the 92, or the 03?

The 03. The 92 was sold. Tried to get codes, from the HVAC and the MICU (self diag.), and there were none.

I didn't notice the sold in your signature.

I don't have a wiring diagram for the 03+ accords.

In the TSX manual, there are a number of items that can cause the system to turn off, because the PCM controls a lot of it. The V6 accord setup may be completely different.

You might want to have the high/low pressure tested when it is running to see if you have a low charge due to a leak. The pressure switch can shut off the system due to low or high charge.

From reading the service manual, the pressure switch also controls the fan speed, depending on the pressure. Pretty complicated for a shadetree person like me. I hate to admit defeat, but without the equipment to check pressures, I'm stuck to bring it in.

Low Freon is a likely cause. At home without gauges all you could do is empty and recharge the correct amount but you have to sort what to do with the old Freon.
