Default A/C Fan?

When I turn on the a/c only one fan comes on. I have heard that both fans should be on. The only fan that comes on is the same one that comes on when the car is cooling down. Thanks. Any help is awesome.

Are you getting power and ground to the other fan?

Both fans should turn on. I agree with Chiovnidca. Check for 12V at the plug for the other fan.

get a big screwdriver, start car put a/c on, bang on the back side of the fan that DOES NOT come on .. if it starts working you need a fan motor . IF it still does not work chk for power and ground to motor like it was adviced ,, if you get both you got a bad fan motor ,, if you get no power , could be a bad fuse, a fan relay . witring issue,, if you get no ground it is wiring issues
Let us know

the fan not working is the a/c condensor fan .( driver's side ) ......the fan that comes on when car is off ( pass side of car ) it is the main cooling fan
