A/C working and not working

RE: A/C working and not working
If he started his own thread, maybe he'd get scolded for 'not searching'...
When a threadjacker comes in& COMPLETELY changes the direction of the thread, that's annoying.

RE: A/C working and not working
OK, I took my car to a different AC shop. First he checked if the car still have freon left (empty) then he checked for leak and found some kind of green oil at cooling unit drain hose then checked power at the compressor and it's fine (because I told him to check). Right awayhe took cooling unit apart and show me the evaporator where the leak at. I decided to replace evaporator and expansion valve.I tested for about an hourevery day on the way home for almost a week nowNO MORE WARM AIR only COOL AIR. Thanks for all your helps.

RE: A/C working and not working
.I am glad tha car if finally fixed and you got cold air
Now.. did you not say that the first shop said that there was no leaks, and told you it was a bad compressor ?? they just wanted to throw a part in , that would have been a waste of money ,, I am glad that you took our advice and had it DIAGNOSED at another shop ..
