Default Can I disable the remote clicker system? 1999 Accord EX-V6

I have a 1999 Ex-V6 Accord sedan.

I have rarely used the remote clickers, but I have both of the original ones and they do work.

That said, I have recently misplaced one of the clickers and I'm uncomfortable with it floating around out there.

Is there any way I can manually disable the remote clicker system on the car (pull a fuse, or flip a switch or remove a relay), without hampering the alarm system?

Or is my only option to take the clicker I do have and have it reprogrammed at the dealer? If so that sucks because I assume it will be expensive.

Thanks.

Your thread has been moved from the DIY section. Please do not post help questions there, as it is no longer used to post help questions.

You can reprogram the remote transmitters you still have, yourself. This will cancel all previously learned transmitters.
