can i tighten my steering?

Arrow can i tighten my steering?

96 accord lx steering is loose as hell can i fix it in any way

Loose...like when your driving and it goes from side to side?

not like an allignment issue whenever i go over the slightest bump, the wheel goes crazy and i hav to grab the hell out of it. there is just way too much play in the wheel. it drives like a ford haha

You'll need to find exactly where the looseness is coming from. Lift & support the front of the car, then shake the tires (trying to "steer" them). Ball joints, outer tie-rod ends, or wheelbearing can be loose.

Or if the looseness is actually within the steering rack, that gets to be more complicated.

Alignment can cause looseness too. Misadjusted toe can cause bump steer.
