Car does not starts sometime...
I have 07' accord - V6, car does not start sometime (No crank) but if i move shifter from park to other position and move back to park, it starts immediately....this happens once in a 2-3 days....
Any idea what could be the issue, i have new battery and car starts normally manytimes only few time it does not start, no crank....
is it Neutral safety switch??

You need to be clear about problem. Does car refuse to turn over when no-start arises, or turns over but does not catch/run.
The transmission range switch inhibits start unless closed (P or N). If starter does not turn over at all, this may be problem. It is external to the trans and can be replaced.
good luck

Thank you for your reply, car start normally each time when no start arises...
issue is - car does not start at first (with no start no crank - start and run normally if shifter moved from P to other position and back to P)...

I'm going with "starter turns engine over but no engine run".
There are several possibilities:
1) Ignition switch intermittent fault leading to no start signal. Possibile but unlikely.
2) Starter cut relay (under dash fuse box) is intermittent.
3) Intermittent starter solenoid causing fault.
4) Transmission range switch faulty.
Suggest inspecting for start signal (12V) on blk/wht wire at starter to confirm start signal is missing when no-start is present. If yes, check for ground signal at the starter cut relay Light Green wire. If missing w/ trans in P or N, the trans range switch fault is confirmed.
good luck
