Default Car Doesnt start! (Gas pedal loose)

I drive a 94 accord(engine swapped with a 96 engine) and recently when I went to turn it on It just made a click sound, No choking or anything, First I thought it was the battery and corosion,So i bought a new battery, Thats wasnt it, Then I realized that The Gas pedal is extremely loose, Probably why the car isnt starting is possibly its not getting any gas pumped in through it, Im guessing its the Pedal ,But im not sure, Anyone know how to fix it?

if it's just making a clicking noise and you already replaced the battery then chances are it's the starter celenoid or a loose wire on/going to the starter. Does it turn over at all or just click? Try taking the end of a wrench and banging on the celenoid that's attached to the starter and see if it will start then. If it does then just replace the starter.

The gas pedal being loose shouldn't cause that. Fuel injected vehicles will pump in fuel automatically (no need to "pump" the gas pedal) I just push in the clutch and start my car without even touching the gas (94 accord ex) so most likely it's a starter issue or a wire issue.

most likely the starter, as I had the same problem with my car which is a 97. It would eventually start if I kept trying, but it got progressivley worse over time, like at first it would take 10ish trys to start, right before I replaced the starter it took about 50.

hit the starter with a screwdriver and if it works after that then you know thats the problem

Our lawnmower did the exact same thing. Turns out it was the celenoid, although the starter is starting to conk out.

It is cheap and easy to change the starter contacts in the starter solenoid. the dealer might stock them or most auto electric places have them.
