Car stutters at crusing speeds and NO check engine light. Please Help
I have a 1995 Accord 4cyl with 130000 miles. Recently it has developed a stutter or a miss when you are crusing from 35 to 60 mph and I was getting over 30 mpg now I am lucky to get 25. I have changed the plugs, wires and the fuel filter and nothing has seemed to help. There is no service engine light on, Im not having any luck, any help would be great, Thanks.

I would suspect either fuel metering is incorrect because of a slow O2 sensor, or perhapstheruptured fuel pressure regulator (FPR) diaphragm is ruptured allowing gas to be pulled into intake manifold through the vacuum reference line to the FPR. Check FPR by pulling vacuum line and sniffing for gas. Strong smell of gas indicates a ruptured diaphragm.
O2 sensor is usually replaced, unless you have an OBD2 scanner that can track O2 sensor output. A new sensor can be purchased for < $50 on ebay. If yours is over 50k miles, a replacement won't hurt anything.
good luck

to test for plugged EGR ports, have the engine fully warmed up, then put it in drive and hold the brake, raise the RPM up thru 1600 and see if you feel a lean burn miss in the engine.
If you need to clean the EGR ports, here's a link;
