1995 honda accord ex Auto

My car has the weirdest problem, it only turns on if I hold down the acceleration pedal. If I dont it will only turn the engine. Im so lost...

 

After you get the car running, do you still have to use the gas pedal to keep it running?

When was the last time you changed the spark plugs? Use only the NGK brand recommended for your car (NGK ZFR5F-11 spark plugs, I believe).

 

once it starts it sounds like its clogged for like 5 seconds then it runs super smooth again till the next time I start it. and I changed the plugs about a month ago. and the wires as well

 

Is the CEL on ?

Does this happen all the time or only once the car has sat for "x" amount of time?

 

all the time. I'm going to change the fuel filter tomorrow
