Default Castle Carbon Clean

I went to the dealer to try and buy honda throttle body cleaner. They said they didn't have any. I asked how they cleaned throttle bodies given that honda service manual recommends the honda cleaner. They said they just do a carbon clean with the Castle products. Does anybody have experience with these Castle Carbon Cleaning products?

In particular:

1. Is this safe for the honda 2007 throttle body (service manual says use only honda throttle body cleaner and not to clean the pivots because it can damage the molydenum coating)?

2. Does this eliminate the need for manual throttle body cleaning (as recommended by the service manual)?

Thanks in advance for any advice!
John

This is more of a General Tech question, so I'll move it.

Probably won't hurt anything, but unlikely to help. Modern gasolines contain top end cleaners to prevent fouling.

good luck
