Default Changing to AMSOIL 5W40 in my V6?

Ive been running Mobil 1 10W30 syn.in my 96 Accord EX V6 since 100k miles. It now has 140k miles. I have 6 qts of AMSOIL 5W40 Euro Synth. that i would like to make use of. Its obvious AMSOIL is the beest stuff out there. Is it safe to change to this now? Thanks. BTW i live in AZ where its 100-110 every day ; )

I dunno. Im leary of changing brands of oil as is, but changing viscosity as well, especially on an engine with over 140,000 miles on it might be a bit much.

Go here and post a question. These guys eat, sleep and breath oil.
