Default Changing Tranmission fluid

Hi all. New poster. Can anyone help? - I'm wanting to change the transmission fluid in my 2002 Honda Accord - V6. (or point me to a post where it's already been explained)

I bought the tranny fluid and a drain pan already. Do I need to buy a whole new drain plug, or just a new seal for the current plug.

Otherwise, is it as simple as "drain, plug, refill?"

Thanks.

You don't need a filter, and you can get crush washers for both plugs at the dealer for like $0.50 each.

Basically drain, fill.

Default crush washer

I picked up a couple of the washers at my local dealer. Apparently I live in a suburb of Tokyo, because those washers cost $3.50 each at my dealer.

??????????????????????????

you need washers for 2 plugs? are these necessary. i haven't changed my fluid yet, but planning to do so very soon. i've read that there is a drain plug and a refill plug. i suppose those are the 2 plugs referred to. but one question, can i simply refill though the engine bay (tranny dipstick)?

Refilling through the dipstick -- yes, you can do it. I've done it on my 09 Accord with V6. Be warned, though, that the dipstick is pretty small and you may have a hard time finding a funnel that has a small enough tip to fit.
