Default Check engine on

99 Accord 4dr Lx standard, couple days ago forgot to turn off my lights, the battery went dead reboosted the next day but
-Check engine light went on
-Remote starter won't start
but I can still use the remote door lock and start the car with my key

should I change the battery??

Have battery load tested and check the DTC at Autozone. If battery checks OK, reset the ECU and see if code returns.

God knows! Did you "reboost" without disconnecting at least one battery terminal?

battery fine, did a Ecu so far so good ( check engine went off and stay off)
but remote starter still no working

you might have to relearn the remote start.
