I didnt think about the using the vaccum to clean out the holes. But thank you for all the advice!...Yes I replaced the upper seals with the open end towards the inside of the valve cover.
Somebody can correct me if I am wrong on this one, because the DX/LX valve cover is different from the EX.

Describing the direction to install the seals can be confusing, so I copied a pic below of those gaskets.

Shouldn't the side that is facing UP (the sealed end) in the pic be facing the inside of the valve cover?

I can't see that pic really well, but I guess its cuz im blind....lol, but the side that is flat on the gasket with the little indentations on the inside diameter, should NOT be facing into the valve cover.....

Ok, now the new spark plugs and spark plug wires just came in today, I install those and the car started up really nice compared to last nites fiasco. But the idle is a little too low and the acceleration is a little hesitant.....is that my timing now?

The pic is small, but the drawing in the shop manual is terrible.

I attached it below.

I remember reading that someone had installed the seals upsidedown, and that created the oil leak you described.

Your seals are different than my EX, so I wasn't sure how they go in there.
