Can I recharge my A/C myself? If so, how much does that usually run? Since it's about to be winter anyway.. won't matter if it causes a small delay in A/C use
if you know what you are doing ,, you can recharge it yourself,, however you need freon ( r134a) gauges, and vacc pump .. you need to evac , put system under a vacc for a bit ( at least 1 hr ) and recharge
A shop should not charge you more than 30 dollars labor + freon 15-20 dollars ,,,,,,,,,some shops might have an A/C service special $ 19.95 + freon

Oh ok, that's not too bad.. might have been a dumb question to ask.. just I haven't had A/C for the past 3 years in my last vehicle LOL
