Default Clicking/clunking coming from front right corner during left turns...

I'm getting kind of like a metallic pop from the front right in left turns, pretty sure it's the CV axle.
Anything else I should look at before buying a new one?

All kinds of things. Sway bar links, sway bar bushings, ball joints, control arms, radius/strut rod bushings......just for starters.

A single "pop" vs clicking sounds leads me more to something in the suspension vs the cv shaft joints.

Sorry, the sound keeps going until I straighten up after a left turn.
I'm going to put an axle in just in case, buddy that gave me the car said it made noises in turns but I hadn't heard it until a couple days ago.
Then in a couple weeks when I get my first check at work, I'm looking around at poly bushing kits & ball joints/control arms. There is all sorts of rattles coming from front over the smallest of road imperfections, figure it needs a complete redo.

I wouldn't go poly bushings, as they'll start making noise unless you lube them regularly. Instead, I'd look at good quality suspension parts from MOOG or TRW. You can get them from several suppliers like RockAuto and Parts Train. I only say go with stock replacements, as these cars were designed to use rubber bushings for that nice comfortable ride.

Poly squeaks are better than suspension rattle, I haven't decided yet replace, or repair. I can get new front suspension components off EBay for under $100, or a poly bushing kit, F&R for under $100.
Leaning towards components, includes steering endlinks, boots, and bushings, cheap rubber ones I'm sure but better than what's current...

Mean while, back on topic, got new axle in, didn't take long, hardest part was carrying jack out front from shed. Clicking is gone, even during left U'ies.
