What are the yellow lights under the headlights called? see arrow in picture

I know it is the turn signal, but am trying to find the relay that turns this on and off. It is not the blinker relay (I think). It is on when the headlights are on. I think it is called something else when these are on at night.

Long story short... Last night when my daughter turned off the car and got out, those yellow lights under the headlights stayed on, even though she turned off the lights using the switch on the turn signal.

I went out there and fiddled with the switch, it didn't turn off. I finally got her remote and tried pushing the lock/unlock button several times and the lights finally turned off.

I was able to get those lights to be "stuck on" while the switch in the car was not touched, by using the FOB (model XT-59). So I know it cannot be the switch on the turn signal.

I originally suspected 3 things that could cause the problem.
1) off/on switch on turn signal - I am sure this is not it.
2) intermittent relay somewhere - but I need to know what the yellow lights are called so I can pull that relay and put a new one in.
3) This car has an aftermarket alarm that was installed by a previous owner (we had this car for 5 years). It might be the problem. It is an Autopage RF-305. Maybe there is a relay under the dash near the Autopage controller box.

I thought about reprogramming the AutoPage RF-305, but am trying to find the instrustions on the internet.

Last resort... is it possible be me to just unplug the connectors to the Autopage alarm without screwing up anything? In other words, if I remove the controller, the alarm will not work and the doors will have to be unlocked manually. Is that all?

What might happen if I remove the Autopage Alarm and find out it screws up alot of things ( like can't lock doors using the switch on the door, etc..)
Can I simply plug it back in and everything will go back like it was previously? I would think it would be ok to try, since this is no different than disconnecting the car battery.

Ok thanks! Now to find the "DRL relay" if there is one.

Incorrect. Many times you just make up things.

They are parking lights.

The Autopage RF-305 should have a green wire that supplies the parking light output (+). It may have a 10 amp fuse on that wire. If it does, take out the fuse.

From your photo, the Accord looks to be an LX or DX, since it doesn't have alloy wheels. For LX and DX, typically the alarm's parking light output wire is connected to the Accord's Red/Black wire (located at pin no. 18 of a 20-P harness connector located at the driver's side under-dash fuse box.

Autopage RF-305 Installation Manual (Courtesy of the 12volt.com forum):
Green-----Parking Light Output (10amp) (+)
Red-------12 Volts Main Power (15amp) (+)
Blue-------Siren Output (+)
Black------Main Ground
Black/White-----Starter Interrupt (300 mA [-] output)
Yellow---EXT1 or 2nd Channel (200 mA [-] output)
Gray------Negative Door Pin Trigger Input
Pink-----Added Sensor or Negative Pin Switch Trigger Input
Purple------Positive Door Pin Trigger Input
White--------Ignition Switch Input
Door Lock Input Plug
Light Blue--------Door Unlock (-) or Door Lock (+)
Red--------12 volts Output (+)
Light Green-------Door lock (-) or Door Unlock (+)

I was hoping it was a relay, but while I was down under the dash, the lights kept coming on and off, even thought no one was touching the remote. It had to be lose wires or bad connections. I just unplugged the Autopage RF-305. Hated to do this, but I can't let my daughter get stuck somewhere when I "think I got it" only to have another problem down the road.

Thanks everyone for the info. Hopefully someone else will see this and it will be helpful to them

I may have been incorrect, though I've never "just make up things". I would not intentionally mislead anyone
