This is an old thread, so you may not get a response from the folks having this issue.

It does sound like it is a possible battery/alternator/voltage issue, so something in the charging system. Inspect the battery terminals for obvious corrosion. You may want to purchase a battery voltage monitor you can plug in the power outlet to see if your car's voltage jumps high or low when the relay starts clicking.
