Hi Member...
I believe that code 1259 is a false code given out by the PCM..
I or one of the other members will look it up for you shortly..until don't fret, it will be known by one of them..

Thanks for joining up..

The pcm doesnt give false codes. It only codes when it sees a problem. When i get one with a p1259, the first thing I do is check the engine oil. a low level will cause it. If the oil is good I check to see if the engine is a sludge monster.

if both fans are on when you start the car, it could be because you have the A/C on. Try to figure out what's causing the problem before replacing things. There's nothing worse than replacing a bunch of stuff to find out it was something simple and cheap (been there, done that!).

Like Chiovnidca mentioned, hows the oil level look? Have you replaced the filter recently?

Yes, I double check it before i start the car and both fans continuously on all the time while the car is running. When i unplugged the V-tec oil pressure switch both fans will stop hmmmmmmmm.

I have a pocket logger that is compatible with OBD 2 Honda's, that`s how i erase the check engine code. Engine code erase step on the gas rev over 4,000 rpm check engine come backs on some times 1259 sometimes p000.
