Angry Confirmed fix - Code 1381

I am new to this but cant figure out my problem. I have a 4cylinder 2000 Honda Accord LX with V-Tech engine. Check engine light has code 1381(distributor). I replaced the distributor and reset light but came back on with same code. Also, the wires are new. What else can it be? Its killing me. I have 10days to get inspected!

May be due to faulty diodes in the alternator. See thread.

Thumbs up Code 1381

Dude, you saved me big time. After replacing the distributor and wires, I took your advice and had the Alternator checked. Test showed it was bad(diodes). Replaced it and code cleared. Thanks alot. Really appreciate the advice.
